Residential

Hampshire Property Management Group manages over 150 residential apartments in Northampton, Florence and Easthampton, MA.

We pride ourselves in being responsive to both the owner’s and the tenant’s needs.  Each month we collect rent, pay common area utilities and coordinate vendor services such as landscaping and snow removal. By the 20th of each month the property owner will receive a monthly report from the previous month of all receipts and expenditures as well as a disbursement of funds remaining in excess of expenses.

For maintenance issues or emergencies, tenants can contact our office with directly via this website or they can contact a property manager who will schedule whatever work needs to be done in the unit.

You can trust that your investment is being properly cared for by the Hampshire Property Management Group.

Move out notice

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MOVE OUT NOTICE is intended for ALL OCCUPANTS of the unit. Roommates who wish to leave their apartment, while another roommate stays in the unit MUST RECEIVE PERMISSION FROM THE PROPERTY MANAGER PRIOR TO LEAVING.  Also, your roommate will have to officially "sign you off the lease" and have future tenants qualified by this office (currently a $125 application fee applies).  If you are not formally removed from your lease, you are still under a legal obligation to pay rent for the apartment, regardless of any written notice you give indicating that you are leaving.

DO YOU NEED TO ADD A ROOMMATE OR SUBLET YOUR APARTMENT?

Don't forget to get your Property Manager's PRIOR approval before allowing anyone to move in.  You may be at risk for eviction if you don't.  There is an application processing fee of $125 for swapping, removing or adding roommates to your lease.  Have the new roommate fill out the application below and bring it to our office for processing.

Guarantor Form (if applicable)

Also, make sure the exiting roommate(s) is removed from the lease.  In order for it to be "official", the document has to be in writing and it must include the following information:

  • the names and signatures of ALL current lease holders
  • the date the roommate(s) is to be released from the lease obligation
  • the property manager's approval
